Aleksandra Wałaszek
President
Walaszek is an interdisciplinary artist and curator based in Chicago, born in Wroclaw, Poland. Her work focuses on subjects such as: identity, and history. She works through collaboration, in-between locations and media. She holds an MA in Media Arts from Academy of Fine Arts in Wroclaw and is currently an MFA candidate at SAIC. Walaszek received several scholarships including the Fulbright Graduate Student Award and Trust for Mutual Understanding.
Sam Stevens
Vice President
Sam Stevens, is a visual artist and curator, inspired by design. Rooted in painting and sculpture, his work explores the built environment, social structures and the finer details of perception. Holding a B.F.A. in Painting from the Kansas City Art Institute and an M.F.A. in Sculpture from the Eugeniusz Geppert Academy of Art and Design in Wrocław.
